I'm building a new rocket out of some of those mislabeled rocket parts you find in the grocery store.
As soon as I saw the label on the Pringles Multigrain Chips in the Super Stack can, I knew that would make a fun rocket body tube.

All I could think of was that string zippering the kid's lip as soon as the string pulled tight.
But, like most "Hey Y'all watch this" moments on film, it is pretty funny.. |

That will be the MidSouthCon weekend but should still be a good day to launch.
I'd like to come out and maybe launch a rocket I built myself. I'm hoping to catch a couple of the talks Les Johnson will be doing at MidSouthCon. In case anyone else is interested he's doing a NASA Update talk at 2PM Saturday and one on Water Ice on the Moon at 10PM. He'll be doing others, along with a lot of other people doing the usual Con type tracks, but those are the ones I'm interested in hearing. |

Gary flew a few of his rockets Sunday afternoon. I think his highest flight topped out around 2300. I brought Nathan out to fly his first rocket, a little RTF Estes kit, as well as a couple of my tried and true BP rockets.

Great to hear someone is around who has done this before! I've been spending all my waking moments through the holidays working (FedEx) but am back in the real world again and will be following up with you on this.
