My *4th* HPR Project
« on: June 17, 2007, 09:52:56 AM »

Well Folks,

It seems that either I've been trying too hard or not hard enough on my projects. I intend on trying harder for this next project.

I'm planning on another 4" kit, so I can continue to fly 54/38mm motors. I haven't decided on what kit yet, so any recommendations would be appreciated.

I will be planning on getting a HAM license, so that I can get a locator beacon.

It will be chock full of features, such as a Slimline retainer, avionics bay, and a lot more payload space than the Talon 4 had. I really liked the design of the Talon, it just didn't have the interior room that I like. The avionics bay was also a little awkward.

We have until Memorial Day Weekend for the next Southern Thunder, when they will also be hosting NSL 2008, or so I heard.

I'll be taking my time, and hopefully get a few successful flights in the meantime.
